“As an artist, I am driven to express the love and admiration that our southern forests and creatures ignite in my creativity. I am mesmerized by the beauty we find all around us, and I want to bring that incredible feeling to everyone through my art. I create intricately carved hand-printed linocuts on a variety of high-quality media, with subject matter focused on honoring the simplest forms and extraordinary details of nature. From single-color blocks printed on Unryu paper to layers of prints collaged onto wood panels, I explore the intricacy of our natural world. With my children, I walk through forests, hike up mountain trails, stroll the rivers of the diverse and beautiful South, collecting inspiration with every step.”
